The "Poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation and genome integrity" team recognized as a "LCC labeled team"

The team of Valérie Schreiber and Françoise Dantzer at UMR “Biotechnology and cell signalling” (Irebs) has obtained a 5-year financial support from the french league against cancer ("Ligue contre le cancer", LCC), and is therefore recognized as a "LCC labeled research team".

The scientific research project supported by the LCC is entitled: “New actors of the poly (ADP-ribosyl)ation in the maintenance of genome integrity”.

The "LCC Team" label main purpose is to provide substantial financial support for several years to research teams located in laboratories that are recognized by the french public research agencies and that develop research programs in cognitive oncology.

Teams participating in this program are selected on three main criteria: (i) excellence, demonstrated by their internationally-recognized publications; (ii) scientific quality of the research projects; (iii) feasibility of the projects, depending on the intrinsic quality of the team and on outstanding equipment and technical environment.
