28 March - 1 April 2011 - EMBL-EBI, Hinxton, UK
January 21, 2011
This workshop is specifically intended to give experimental and computational biologists training on how to optimally explore and use protein-protein interaction resources. We will also explore EBI’s data resources related to pathways. Preference will be given to those actively involved in or commencing protein interaction and/or pathway-related projects.
The course consist of two parts :
Part 1 provides an introduction and hands-on training to enable you to study protein-protein interactions and pathways using publicly available resources and tools. This will include the mapping and visualisation of biological networks, network/pathway based analysis and an introduction to Cytoscape as well as a more detailed look at a plug-in allowing the merging of protein interaction networks with functional and structural information.
Part 2 is aimed at supporting those interested in training others on the resources covered during the course. You must have attended the first part of the course to take part in this session.
Registration deadline : 23 February 2011
