A web site for the network for synthetic biology in the Upper Rhine valley (NSB-Upper Rhine).
This project is supported by the Interreg IV Upper Rhine of the European Union
develop a joint research and training in the field of synthetic biology (bioengineering).
In this network, scientists from three countries apply their complementing expertise in synthetic biology to investigate molecular disease mechanisms and to develop novel therapeutic solutions in the biomedical sector in three expertise areas :
The NSB-Upper Rhine comprises the laboratories of the universities of Bâle, Freiburg, Karlsruhe and Strasbourg, laboratory of “Biotechnologie et signalisation cellulaire” (CNRS/Unistra). In this context, ESBS (École Supérieure de Biotechnologie de Strasbourg) was authorized to issue a Master reserved for foreign students.
