Structural insights into the dynamic process of G protein coupled receptor signaling
Mercredi 10 Juin, 11h00 - 12h30, ISIS Auditorium

The University of Strasbourg Institute of Advanced Study (USIAS) and the Labex Medalis are pleased to invite you to the Distinguished Lecture of Brian Kobilka on 10 June 2015.

Brian Kobilka is an American physiologist and laureate of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Robert Lefkowitz for his work on G protein-coupled receptors. He is currently a professor in the department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

During the conférence, Brian Kobilka will discuss allosteric regulation of GPCRs which conduct the majority of transmembrane responses to hormones and neurotransmitters, and mediate the senses of sight, smell and taste.
