2010 Jacques Monod Conference series: "Cell division: time and space"

The "Conférences Jacques Monod" are devoted to new topics in the life sciences, in particular those at the interface of several disciplines, either in pure biology or its applications (biotechnology, health, agronomy, etc.).

In this 2010 series, the Conference "Cell division: time and space" will take place at Roscoff (Brittany, France) on September 11 to 15, 2010.

The conference will focus on the following topics:

  • Spindle dynamics and chromosome segregation
  • DNA replication and the establishment of chromosome cohesion
  • Mechanisms of asymmetric cell division
  • Nuclear dynamics and mitotic progression
  • The control of mitotic exit and cytokinesis
  • Meiosis
  • Organelle segregation and cell cycle control
