Gordon Research Conferences : Oxidative Stress & Disease

March 13-18, 2011 Four Points Sheraton / Holiday Inn Express Ventura, CA, USA

August 26, 2010

The 2011 GRC on Oxidative Stress and Disease has been assembled around the theme of emerging research areas that have recently collectively changed the way in which we think about the impact of oxidative stress on cellular mechanisms involved in human disease.

These include the impact of oxidative stress on, for example, epigenetics, microRNAs, stem cells, mitochondrial dynamics, etc. Findings associated with these novel areas of research are in turn likely to affect the manner in which basic research is translated into interventions for oxidative stress-related disorders.

Preliminary program :

  • Keynote Presentation : Oxidative Stress and Cellular Dysfunction : Examples from Neurodegenerative Disease
  • Oxidative Stress, DNA Damage, Epigenetics, and Disease
  • Oxidative Stress and Transcriptional Regulation in Disease
  • Oxidative Stress, miRNAs, and Disease
  • Oxidative Stress, Stem Cells, and Disease
  • Oxidative Stress and Alterations in Mitochondrial Dynamics in Disease
  • Complications in Diabetes and Oxidative Stress
  • Inflammation, Oxidative Stress, and Cardiovascular Disease
  • Short Talks from Posters / Late-Breaking Advances

Applications for this meeting must be submitted by February 20, 2011.
